Vrijdag om 20.30 uur speelt KSVR op verplaatsing naar KVC Westerlo voor de 22ste speeldag van de Proximus League 2017-2018. KSVR speelt dit duel in ’t Kuipke te Westerlo en het duel zal op gang worden gefloten door Ben Mesotten, bijgestaan door Quentin Blaise, Raf Eerdekens en 4de official Kevin Van Damme. De jongens uit de Zuiderkempen eindigden vorig seizoen op de zestiende en laatste plaats in 1A en degradeerden daardoor naar 1B. Daar staan de geel-blauwen nu na 21 speeldagen op de 8ste en laatste plaats met 16 punten (12 minder dan KSVR). Tijdens het eerste periodekampioenschap eindigde de wedstrijd op 4-0 voor ‘Westel’. Afgelopen weekend werd er door de club uit de provincie Antwerpen nog met 2-1 verloren in Tubeke. Dit duel is voor Esvee van groot belang om op het elan van de overwinning van vorig weekend te kunnen verdergaan en 2018 sterk in te zetten zodat de kloof met de 4de plaats in de algemene rangschikking niet te groot wordt. Bij KSVR zijn X geschorst en blijven Xgeblesseerd aan de kant. KSVR-Supporters kunnen meereizen met de supportersbussen: vertrek vrijdag om 17.15 uur op Schiervelde (inschrijven: 0496/14 11 69). De KSVR-spelers hopen op zoveel mogelijk supporters om ‘Esvee’ aan te moedigen tijdens dit steeds sfeervolle duel in de ‘groene parel der Kempen’.
